Mike Davies founded IT services company and OneDeploy’s sister organisation Centrality, more than 20 years ago, to provide highly reliable technology services to medium and large businesses.

As part of his team’s work for a wide range of companies he saw a need for a better way of standardising the deployment of Windows to numerous servers, desktop PCs and mobile devices as well as deploying selected operating systems across new hardware.

Today, OneDeploy is a highly mature Windows deployment solution designed to help companies support a range of old and new desktop and mobile devices, migrating them to new operating systems, including Windows 10, all with minimal to zero engineer ‘attended time’.

No matter what hardware or form factor you use, or how many machines or mobile devices are involved, OneDeploy delivers a sophisticated, yet fully-automated, Windows user experience through even the largest Windows deployments.

We wanted to develop a Windows deployment offering which was capable of simplifying and automating the OS installation process. The aim was to create a zero-touch, zero imaging and zero server infrastructure Windows deployment solution. That is the vision behind OSInstaller which was put to work for the first time more than 15 years ago.Such has been the success of our Definitive Windows Deployment Solution that in 2013 we decided to create a new company – OneDeploy Limited - renaming the product OneDeploy so that we could dedicate increasing sales, as well as research and development effort to become a leader in Windows Deployment, fully differentiated from Microsoft OS deployment toolsets and an array of ‘ghost’ imaging solutions, with their inherent problems.Mike Davies, Managing Director

Mike Davies set up IT Services business Centrality Ltd in 1996, building this business into a highly successful company employing over 60 people. Some 15 years ago, he worked with Centrality’s development team to develop a new alternative to ghost and Systems Management Server and other imaging-based Windows deployment solutions. The new deployment solution, initially called OSInstaller, was built to minimise engineer-attended time at devices. It also eliminated the need for considerable server infrastructure to direct largescale deployments, or reliance on quickly ageing images and cumbersome reference machines. OSInstaller was so well-received that Mike set up a new company called OneDeploy Ltd in 2013 to ensure the solution – renamed OneDeploy - continues to get the support and resources it deserves as The Definitive Windows Deployment Solution.

Simon Crozier

Operations Director

Simon has been working at senior level inside group company Centrality for over six years and now holds dual roles ensuring the smooth running of both OneDeploy and Centrality businesses and ensuring smooth liaison between both operations for clients transitioning from OneDeploy-enabled Windows deployments to a growing suite of IT services provided by Centrality.

Dan Wyness

Technical Manager

Dan worked in senior technical roles within Centrality for more than 10 years before taking on the additional role of Senior Technical Manager of OneDeploy at a time when demand for Windows Deployments, using OneDeploy, has never been so great.
